I chose to focus my project on agriculture and how it has become one of the main forces behind climate change. My mission was to inform and educate viewers on this issue. I started the project by collecting a substantial amount of research on how agriculture impacts climate change. Some aspects of this research covered air and water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and the heavy use of resources that agriculture uses. I also decided to include an animal rights perspective, highlighting the cruelty that animals face on factory farms. To encourage viewers to take action, I also wanted to include information and tips on how to lessen meat and animal product consumption.

Halftone was a visual motif that I incorporated throughout, relating to the idea of particles being released into the air and atmosphere.
The goal of this project was to conceptualize and design a unique, original publication that highlights sustainable practices in a chosen discipline. The focus of the publication was on one of the United Nation’s seventeen sustainability goals. It should include complex layout design and use type as the primary focus.
